Finished her American championship with all her singles won by Michele Polito, and her Majors by Sarah Riedl in two weekends.

Prada was the smallest of the girls in her litter, however soon caught up with them. Her first call name was “Itsy”, as she was an itsy bitsy thing. She was full of piss and vinegar, and was always willing to take on the others. When any rough housing was going on, she was always right in the middle of it. Was kind of a relief when she went to live with Darlene, well, a relief for me, not so much for Darlene and the half brother Maxwell. Darlene soon found a suitable name for this beautiful, showy girl- PRADA.

This girl is actually the Pick of the Litter. The first time she was on lead, she just took off, and made everyone keep up with her. No matter who was on the end of the lead, she was ready to show. They say a show dog is just born to show, this girl is living testament to that saying. She aced her handling classes, and was soon in the ring with her professional handler. Every time she showed, she floated around the ring, aweing the crowd with her movement. She is truly in her element while in the ring, showing off her tremendous reach and drive.

Prada was first shown as a puppy by Michele Polito, who showed her off and on and obtained all her singles. She then stayed home with Darlene growing coat, until she was 20 months, where she went to Sarah Riedl, to be shown for her Majors. Sarah took her out one weekend for practice, winning her first Major, showed her the second weekend, getting her second Major, and Prada was ready to come home an American champion.

Structurally, Prada is beautifully constructed. She is refined with a nice shoulder layback, moderate depth of chest, lovely bend of stifle, nice croup, good tail set and carriage. Tremendous length of neck, extremely short back, nice arched feet. She has decent coat and black skin pigment. Her eye rims/pads/nose are ink black. Temperament wise, she is loving, eager to please, happy, and playful. We have found things do not really bother her; she has a very sound temperament and has boarded away from home with no problems. She loves to visit others, and has never met a stranger. She loves children, has a lot of exposure to Darlene’s granddaughters, and follows them all around hoping they will drop something for her to play with.

The pedigree blend from both her mother and father turned out some beautiful, healthy offspring. We have several boys we are considering for blending with Prada and her sisters, and hope to continue producing beautiful, healthy puppies with sound temperaments, which is what Stargazer/Legend Poodles are known for.
